Our Story

Like many modern love stories, ours began with a swipe. We met on Tinder, where both of us were just casually browsing, not exactly expecting to meet the one.  After a few days of exchanging some witty banter, we realized there was something worth exploring beyond the screen.

Our first date was on October 19, 2022. Faraz kept his promise and took Caitlin to a popular neighbourhood pizza joint. That night had all the ingredients (pun intended!) of a perfect first date: great food, easy conversation, and a spark we couldn’t ignore.

Things moved quickly—but in the best way. Just a few weeks later, Caitlin was traveling in Costa Rica and sent Faraz some photos, adding a casual “Wish you were here.” And, like a scene straight out of a Nicholas Sparks novel, the next thing she knew, Faraz was on a plane to join her.

It was on that trip, under the stars in a remote stretch of jungle, we both knew this was the real deal.

Since then, we’ve been inseparable.

We have done a lot of learning and growing over the past three years — and have taken a few leaps of faith too!  We bought our first house, adopted our crazy mini golden-doodle, and made a big move to the United States.
